My Girlfriend loves my Massage

Massage really relieves headache, you can ask my girlfriend.

You are suffering from headache and you get so annoyed and sometimes it is difficult to avoid.

When we are under pressure, headache appears automatically. If it gets worse, we might faint due to the pain we felt.

When you have headache, it's a hassle. Headache is a condition of mild to severe pain in the head. It can also attack at our upper back or neck.

There are different types of headache,

  • Mild

  • Moderate

  • Severe

Most of the time headache brought on by stress, too long in front of computer, noise and others.

When you feel something bad, maybe it's headache, stressful isn't it?

One of the main causes of headache is tension in the muscles of the neck, scalp and jaw. We usually deal with it by taking some sleep or consume over-the counter aspirin to release our pain.

But just to warn you, we cannot sleep at the office or at the mall. In addition, we might run of aspirin when headache strike us.

Do not worry! There are easy ways to handle headache and we can do it everywhere is through massage. The best first aid for headache is massage.

Massage is the practice of applying pressure or vibration to the soft tissues of the body, to heal injury, relieve psychological stress, manage pain, improve circulation and relieve tension.

When we suffer from headache, we can help ourselves with self-massage. Simple and

everybody can do it, either at work or home.

Here are four easy ways in massage to heal our headache.

1. Eyes Area Massage -- Close your eyes. Place your middle fingers to your eyes that are above cheekbones. Massage that area gently but firmly in circular motion for 1 minute,

2. Eyes to Nose Massage – Using thumb, go along the underside of eyebrows (along the bone on top of eye socket). Feel where this bone meets the bridge of your nose and eyes and find a point where there is a small indentation. Very gentle pressure, press your

thumbs into the points. You can do it four times by holding and press that area for 10 seconds in each press.

3. Neck Massage -- Massage a point where you can feel it by moving the middle fingers of your hands to the back of your head and feel the base of your skull. Specially, at the tops of your neck that meets the base of your skull. Massage for a minutes using finger tips gentle in circular movement.

4. Scalp Massage – Let your palms of your hands massage your scalp on the top of your skull for a minute gently.

Once you have done all those massages, start taking a deep breath. Lift your shoulders towards your ears for five to 10 seconds to relief remaining pain, and then let them drop back down into their natural position.

You are going to feel better when you can do that for a couple of times. Your massage will relief your headache and your head will feel less weighty.

How to avoid sunburn in Boracay

In some time or another, we’ve all experienced the effects of sunburn – there are two types: light burn or a more heavy burn. If if you ‘have’ found yourself having spent a little too much time in the sun, here are some natural home remedies to help ease the pain of sunburn, and assist in the body’s healing process. You can share it to your friends.

Here are the remedies:

1. Cool, sugarless tea: - The tannin in tea is the active ingredient here, which helps to soothe and relieve some of the discomfort of sunburned skin. After brewing a big pot of tea, and allowing it to cool completely, slosh the affected areas with a soft sponge or washcloth. As with the vinegar (4), you could also fill a spray bottle, and spray the tea directly on the skin. And don’t throw away the used (cool) teabags. These are especially good for sensitive areas around the eyes – simply place the teabags over your eyes if they feel hot and tired. (If you have ‘St. John’s Wort’, consider using this as it contains cooling properties, which can help tone down some of the heat in your skin, as well as soothing the nerve endings damaged by the sunburn).

2. Aloe Vera: - Fresh Aloe Vera is commonly used to treat sunburn. As well as providing soothing relief, it may also assist in the healing process. Apply to the affected areas as needed. Although the gel extracted directly from an aloe Vera plant works best, if you don’t have ready access to one, you may use an ‘over the counter’ Aloe Vera Cream that contains the gel. For this to be effective, just ensure that the cream contains a high concentration of Aloe Vera than it does water or other solutions.

3. Cool Milk Compresses: - The fat and lactic acids in milk are known to have soothing qualities for sunburned skin. Soak a soft cloth or cotton gauze in cool whole milk, and dab carefully onto the burned skin. Do this for around 20 minutes, and follow by rinsing off with cool water. (Due to the importance of the milk’s fat content, it’s important that whole milk be used in this treatment).

4. Water: - When exposed to the sun, your body loses water and essential body salts. Dehydration occurs when your body loses too much fluid, and begins to reabsorb fluid from the blood and other body tissues. To prevent the consequences of dehydration, increase your fluid intake to ensure you adequately re-hydrate your body for optimum recovery and health.

5. Sunburn should of course be avoided where possible -- particularly as it’s adverse affects not only include damage to the skin, but also the increased risk of skin cancer. Prevention and protection should always be considered the best treatment for sunburn, and will assist in ensuring your optimum long-term health!

*These are home remedy tips only, and should not replace your regular health care provider. If in doubt at any time in relation to your sunburn, please seek the appropriate health care assistance.

I would like to share a message from Jason Tomas and Niccolo Cosme who invited me to be part of this project.

What is YUOY!?!

Yuoy! is the latest song by the independent Hip Hop group Q-York.  Two years ago they heated up the Philippine music scene with their smash hit “Mainit” The song and the music video were definitely memorable and Yuoy! along with it’s music video promises to stir up even more buzz because the message behind the music.

Yuoy! is an expression created by DJ Flavamatikz of Q-York.  Having grown up in Queens, New York, Yo! is a familiar expression for Flava.  Upon transferring to the Philippines, Flava combined the common Hip Hop expression of Yo! with the tagalog words “yun” and “hoy!” to create “Yuoy!”  This expression can take on a multitude of meanings.  It can be a greeting, it can be used to express something cool, it represents freedom.

It is this limitless creativity of the concept of “Yuoy!” which serves as an inspiration to OPM and Pinoys in general.  For this reason,Project Headshot Clinic has decided to support Yuoy! and Original Pilipino Music.  Say it loud, say it proud…Yuoy!!!

RENT: under the shadow of HIV/AIDS

First I would like to share what AIDS and HIV is all about?

AIDS stands for Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. AIDS is a serious condition that weakens the body's immune system, leaving it unable to fight off illness.
AIDS is the last stage in a progression of diseases resulting from a viral infection known as the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV or AIDS virus). The diseases include:

  • a number of unusual and severe infections,

  • cancers and debilitating illnesses,

  • resulting in severe weight loss or wasting away,

  • and diseases affecting the brain and central nervous system.

There is no cure for HIV infection or AIDS nor is there a vaccine to prevent HIV infection.

Speaking of AIDS and HIV, there is one musical play a must for AIDS prevention advocates out there - RENT

RENT is the story of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York’s Lower East Side in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS.

This February, season of love, RENT is set to open this coming Feb. 12 at the RCBC plaza. Tips to become happy

A few months ago I posted about having lunch in Manila Sanitarium. I am impressed with the comment from happiness tips and I would like to share it.

  • My suggestions is consider any unsolicited advice having a grain of salt. If you have not request for suggestions from somebody pay no consideration to it.

  • People have a tendency to want to always voice their opinions even when not ask for or wanted. Try to recognize that their opinions, thoughts, ideas and advice does not matter.. all that matters is that which you think yourself.

  • Even though it is someone you love very much and they advice you about some thing that make you really feel poor, inform them how it makes you feel and why. Should you ask somebody for suggestions and also you do not like what they advised, you’ll just need to take it and do with it what you want.

  • Except it or let it go. It’s always your call what to accomplish with anyones advice. Most people don’t mean to hurt your feelings. They really think what they are telling you is inside your best interest. Just believe about it like that and do that which you would do anyway regardless of the things say.

I have Thyroid Disease

After a succesful blood donation I made for my friend who has a a cervical cancer I was diagnosed by a Naturophatist that I have Hyperthyroidism.

One Saturday when I was in Quezon City Memorial Circle looking for some organic stuffs, I came across with a doctor who is a regular guest in Salamat Dok! He is Dr. Gerry Defensor, who specializes in Naturopathy. So I let him diagnosed my health since it's his medical mission to give a free health check up. My blood pressure was normal, my pulse rate as well, but my heart beat was not. According to his findings I have palpitation and not normal heart beat. I also have hand tremors. I also have hyper metabolism. The following are symptoms of a person who has a Hyperthyroidism.

Now being a fair doctor, he gave me medical prescriptions, medicines that I should take in order to get well soon. He also advised me to get a second opinion from another specialist that will check my whole thyroid. That requires a T3 check up if I'm not mistaken.

I told my mom who's in Mindanao working about this, she said when she comes back to Manila, she's going to have me checked up by her doctor. By the way my mom has Hypothyroidism, I think it's the reverse of what I have, but still it's the same abnormal heart condition. I'm gonna wait for her.

As of now I am taking medications and after 2 weeks I am going to come back for a follow up check up.
Well I am prepared for this kind of situation, that is why I went vegetarian so that I can easily follow what the doctor will say. For the meantime I am going to search about Hyperthyroidism.
