An Easy Way of Going Vegetarian

Most of the vegetarian people that I ask says it's hard to go vegetarian, and so my non vegetarian friends would say " I really really wanted to go vegetarian but it's hard ! isn't it ? " . Miki de Guzman asked this a while ago during the launch of Yahoo Mail Beta. She was not the first person who asked me this but with all pleasure I answered her this way.

The reason why you think going vegetarian is hard is because we are conditioned to eating meat. So if you really want to become vegetarian, you have to aim to remove that condition (eating meat) and make yourself conditioned to eating vegetables. But you can't do this overnight. It takes time because as I said we are conditioned to eating meat. Make a timeline to gradually reduce your intake of meat and this will help you achieve your goal to make yourself conditioned to eating vegetables.

Alright here's a pattern that I hope can also help those who are having hard time giving up meat.

Give up eating Beef :

This is not hard , because you can still eat pork, chicken and fish. So do this for a month or two. Just make sure that you don't eat beef anymore straight for a month.

Give up eating Pork :

When you can now give up beef, it's time to give up pork. You can still eat chicken and fish. It is easier to give up, knowing that pork is the primary cause of diseases. And we all know that it makes us fat since it is very high in bad cholesterol. Do this for a month or two. Just make sure that you don't eat pork anymore straight for a month.

Give up eating chicken:
What's wrong with eating chickens ? Well there's a lot, but anyway you will soon have to give up eating chicken. Maybe this will be hard for you so do this for two months or more , but make sure to give up eating chicken soon.

When you had already give up eating beef, pork and chicken it will be easier for you to go vegetarian or vegan. Don't make it hard for you, there will always be an easier way that will help you achieve your goal. Going vegetarian does not end on giving up the food that you are conditioned to eat, it involves mindset, positive thinking, proper hygiene , a healthier lifestyle above all it develops control. i talk to lots of people every day who tell me they’d like to become vegetarian, but it seems like it would be too hard, and they don’t have the willpower.

I went vegetarian a few months ago. I've never felt better. I hear lots of people complain after going vegetarian, but many seem to point out eating the grains/sugars/etc...and not the veggies so much. I make veggies/fruits my primary and add the nuts/whole grains/etc... to it. I feel better, look better and I'm not sitting around counting calories or fat any more
