OMG, Mark Zuckerberg becomes vegetarian?  So he's gonna change Facebook's color into green? Lol !

The Green Facebook or The Green Lantern?

Here's what Organic Authority posted:
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has announced that he will only eat animals he actually kills himself this year in a self-imposed ‘personal challenge.’

The 27 year-old billionaire innovator and controversial figurehead of the most popular social networking website in the world told Fortune magazine in an email interview that the only meat he will eat, he will kill himself, which now includes seafood like lobster (his first kill), a pig and a goat. “I’m eating a lot healthier foods. And I’ve learned a lot aboutsustainable farming and raising of animals,” he says. “It’s easy to take the food we eat for granted when we can eat good things every day.”

Actively participating in where his food comes from is a way to help Zuckerberg be thankful for the food he has to eat he said in the Fortune interview: “I think many people forget that a living being has to die for you to eat meat, so my goal revolves around not letting myself forget that and being thankful for what I have. This year I’ve basically become a vegetarian since the only meat I’m eating is from animals I’ve killed myself. So far, this has been a good experience.”

Will this dietary change last beyond the one-year ‘personal challenge’ timeframe? Zuckerberg’s not saying yet, but if his emphasis on the benefits of reducing a dependence on factory farm meat can go as viral as Facebook, he could have an impact far greater than just on his own health.
