Sandra Seifert Posed Naked

Posing au naturel while holding an apple next to the caption "Our Bodies Are Temples. Go Vegetarian," environmentalist and international fashion model Sandra Seifert appears in a brand-new ad for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Asia. Her point? That the best decision anyone can make is to choose a plant-based diet, which is better for the Earth, animals, and human health. The campaign – which Seifert conceptualized – follows her 30th birthday on February 1 and was inspired by a verse in the bible, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own" [1 Corinthians 6:19].

Vegetarianism is the practice of abstaining from the consumption of meat – red meat, poultry, seafood and the flesh of any other animal; it may also include abstention from by-products of animal slaughter.(wikipedia)
"Killing animals for food is cruel, and it's also killing our planet," says Seifert, who has been vegetarian for more than half of her life. "With so many delicious meat-free foods available these days and so many compelling reasons not to eat meat—to improve your health, to help stop animal suffering, and to fight back against pollution and greenhouse-gas emissions—there's never been a better time to go vegetarian!" Seifert, a longtime vegetarian, was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2009 and represented the country at the Miss Earth international pageant, where she was crowned Miss Earth Air (first runner-up). Apart from gracing the covers and pages of numerous magazines, she has also produced an environmental short film with the Miss Earth Foundation entitled 'Project Noel' which received the very first 'Loren Legarda Environment Award for Film' at the 59th FAMAS Awards in 2011. A United Nations report determined that the meat industry is "one of the … most significant contributors to the most serious environmental problems, at every scale from local to global" and recommends that the meat industry be "a major policy focus when dealing with problems of land degradation, climate change and air pollution, water storage and water pollution, and loss of biodiversity." In addition to causing the daily suffering of billions of animals raised and killed for food, eating meat and other animal products has been conclusively linked to heart disease, stroke, diabetes, obesity, and cancer. Also, vegetarians are, on average, fitter and trimmer than meat-eaters. The stunning ad was shot by top photographer Ken Go. Seifert's makeup was done by Magic by Anju Dargani, and her hair was styled by Nina's Touch.
