How can a vegetarian maintain a balanced diet? What are our sources of protein that are low in uric acid? How do we deal with the difficulty of finding vegetarian food when eating out? Learn more about sustaining a vegetarian lifestyle with Nanay Nona (Nona D. Andaya-Castillo, IBCLC), a vegetarian for more than 20 years, and a renowned resource speaker on nutrition, ranging from indigenous vegetarianism, natural healing using food, prepared childbirth, breastfeeding and natural family planning. The talk would also be a good introduction about the benefits of a no-meat diet to those interested or trying to practice vegetarianism, with tips on how to keep us healthy and happy. The talk, from 10-11:30am, is open to the public with free admission. It will precede the country’s biggest vegetarian event, the annual Mabuhay Temple Vegetarian Food Fair which starts at 12 noon, and with tickets at P500. We welcome you all to Mabuhay Temple and its Waterdrop Teahouse, located at Vito Cruz (656 P. Ocampo St., Malate, Manila). Bring your family and friends to a fun new way of life!

RSVP Dave Albao at 0917-8124424. Wishing you health and happiness!
