Singapore -- After learning that Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan has been ordered by his doctors to stop eating animal-derived products in the wake of his recent heart operation, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Asia has dispatched copies of PETA's vegetarian starter kit (VSK) to the minister's office. The VSK features recipes, health advice and a variety of helpful tips to make the transition easier for him. PETA has asked Wan to make the VSK mandatory reading for all health officials and Singaporean citizens alike.
